When the decision to surrender an animal has been made, please note the following:
  • Please call during business hours to make arrangements to bring in an animal.
  • If available, please bring any veterinary/adoption records that you may have on the animal including spay/neuter certificate, rabies vaccination certificate, or veterinary visit receipts with other vaccinations/procedures that may have been performed.
  • Any person caught "dumping" or abandoning an animal will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
  • Due to rising costs, a donation is requested for all surrendered animals. This should be discussed with shelter staff.
