TARBELL, SABRINA, AND SMUDGE
In July, 2011, a ten-year old female Persian cat, Tarbell, and her eight-year old children Himalayans, female Sabrina
and male Smudge were surrendered by a loving family when their child became allergic to the cats.
The three were soon placed up for adoption and met many visitors to the shelter as fall became winter. Adoption matches for the three cats did not occur until the end of the calendar year. On December 30, Sabrina and Smudge were adopted and the very next day Tarbell met and was adopted into her new family.
THIS STORY IS TO REMIND US THAT OLDER CATS AND DOGS CONTINUE TO OFFER UNCONDITIONAL LOVE TO ADOPTIVE FAMILIES.
WHEN VISITING A SHELTER OR HUMANE SOCIETY TO CONSIDER ADOPTING A NEW PET DONT DISREGARD THE CAT/DOG THAT IS OLDERTHEY MAY INDEED FILL YOUR HEART AND HOME WITH LOTS OF LOVE!!
