Selling on eBay Can Benefit the Shelter
The St. Lawrence Valley SPCA is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit, certified by eBay's nonprofit partner, MissionFish. Any eBay seller can use eBay Giving Works to donate 10% to 100% of their item's final sale price to the shelter, and get a credit on their Insertion and Final Value fees.

On every listing to benefit the shelter, buyers can see a banner with information about our organization, a link to our eBay Giving Works page, and the percentage of the final sale price the seller is donating.

Family Donation Jar
A local family has made a yearly donation to the shelter by keeping a Family Change Jar. When they find money on their walks, while crossing a parking lot, or a bit extra in their pockets/purses they toss it in the Jar. Each year they attend the annual A Hearty North Country Dinner in January and donate hundreds of dollars to the Shelter. They have shared that when they started they never believed they could accumulate so much money without really trying

You can contribute to the Shelter by putting change in your own Jar and then presenting the donation on a day significant to you.
Your Change Can Benefit the Shelter
The St. Lawrence Valley SPCA has donation jars on counters in various businesses in the Ogdensburg area. They provide added assistance to enable the organization to provide care for animals while we work to place them in forever homes. Next time you see one of our jars consider dropping a bit of spare change.
