- Your real first and last name
- Your telephone number/contact information

- A description of the Fount pet
- Note: Hold back some small bit of information to use for positive identification during a conversation where you can not see the pet that is suspected of being yours. For example, a different patch of fur someplace easily visible, a fat pocket, anything easily seen up close but not so obvious from a distance.
- A color photograph of the lost pet.

After contacting the person who lost the pet, the two of you can work out how to convey the pet back to its rightful owner.
