PET FOOD RECALL

FINALLY, the Pet Food Recall is quieted down and seems to be under control.  Just because it’s not in the news though, doesn’t mean it has gone away and is no longer a danger to our faithful pets.
So, please remain on the lookout and continue to check the status of the Pet Food Recall problem periodically.  Don’t let the lack of news items lull us into a false sense of security.  You can read the latest information at:
http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=rec all_list

I’m sure everyone has heard of the contaminated pet food lately making so much news. It CAN create a very serious problem for your pet and as such it’s well worth keeping up with the latest information about it.
For the most accurate and up to date information, please visit that ASPCA (American SPCA) at:
http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=rec all_list
If for some reason that link won’t work for you, or you want more information, go to http://www.aspca.org and there you will find FAQs, the complete recall list details, and more.

Since new brands and manufacturers are being added all the time, it is well worth checking periodically.
N O T E : Should you find you have a listed brand of cat or dog food, be sure to click the link to get the dates affected and which specific products of that manufacturer are the problem foods. Because a company’s name appears on the list does not mean that ALL of its food is contaminated; it will likely be only certain date codes or batch codes, which are printed on each package of food.
