Q: Are foods still being added to the recall list?

A: Last year’s widespread recall has abated, the FDA still sends out notices about isolated pet food recalls — voluntary and involuntary. Please check the FDA’s website for  current information about safety alerts and recalls.  - Source:  ASPCA.org

Personal Announcement:Yesterday, April 28, 2009, I had to take one of our cats in to the vet for an ear problem.  While I was there, I learned that Lyme Disease and another parasitic infection I can’t recall the name of appears to be suddenly very high in dogs this year. They have seen 7 cases this month so far after not having seen any for the last few years.

They are encouraging people to have their dogs treated for it and to help people decide, are offering a lowered price on the medicines for it. 

Yes, I believe they are being honest. I’ve heard similar reports on radio and seen it in the newspapers.
